wintry-showers-expected---no-respite-from-miserable-weather-conditions

DUBLIN, Ireland - The Met Eireann has said that despite some bright spells on Sunday, the weather is set to remain cold for the weak ahead.

It said that the there won’t be any break from the miserable weather as Monday is expected to be cool and breezy and temperatures would drop significantly during the night.

Further, there is a possibility of snow in Atlantic coasts, particularly in areas of higher ground but also on lower levels too.

Met Eireann added that wintry showers would continued in the country on Tuesday, and that most counties will experience heavy rain showers - with temperatures likely to go no higher than 7 degrees.

Temperatures expected to drop to as low as -4 in places on Tuesday night. There would also be severe frost under clear skies with little or no wind.

The weather body has further predicted  cold weather to continue for the rest of the week.

Wednesday and Thursday will stay cold with frost expected again on both nights.

Next week however, an early forecast has suggested, a dry and bright period, although the nights will remain cold with an ongoing chance of frost.
