CORK, Ireland - In an operation aimed at cracking down on illegal drugs, Gardai from Anglesea Street executed a search warrant at a property in Cork city.
Following a search operation carried out at the property, Gardai said they recovered a massive haul of drugs.
The house on Barrack Street was searched at around 3.30 pm on Thursday.
Gardai said that they had recovered an estimated 9,000 euros worth of cocaine, 5,000 euros worth of ecstasy and 4,200 euros worth of cannabis - all pending analysis.
Further, two men in their 20s have been arrested after the drugs were seized.
Both the men have been detained at the Bridewell Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
