DUBLIN, Ireland - In two separate road collisions that took place on the opposite sides of Dublin on Sunday, a woman suffered injuries.
Two vehicles, including a Garda car suffered damages in the separate collisions.
In the collision that took place in Tallaght, a woman was injured and was rushed to the hospital.
The collision, which took place on the N81 Tallaght bypass, left a Garda vehicle completely smashed.
A Garda spokesman posted photos of the incident on social media, which showed the front end of the Garda vehicle completely smashed.
In a statement issued to Dublin Live, the Garda spokesman said, "Gardai attended the scene of a two car collision on the N81 Tallaght By Pass that occurred on 10/11/18 at approximately 7:25pm."
Meanwhile, the Dublin Fire Brigade posted about a crash that took place in Finglas and posted a photo from the incident on Twitter.
The Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted, "Crews from Phibsborough attended to this single car RTC in #Finglas last night. Despite the major damage to the car there were no serious injuries. Crash safety systems in cars are all designed around the seat belt being worn. Always belt up before you set off."
The incident was a single car collision, which left the vehicles destroyed.
In a statement issued later about both the incidents, Gardai said, "Significant damage to both vehicles but no serious injuries sustained. Driver of one car, a female in her 30s, taken to Tallaght Hospital as a precaution. Investigations are continuing."
