Family concerned about man missing since Saturday

DUBLIN, Ireland - The search for a man from Iceland who went missing in Dublin on Saturday has been stepped up.

41-year-old Jon Jonsson has not been since around 11:00am on Saturday when he was in Whitehall.

He is described as being 63, of medium build, with short brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a black padded jacket.

Despite ongoing searches he has yet to be located.

Gardai say family members are anxious to make contact with him and are concerned for his wellbeing.
