BELFAST, Northern Ireland - Officers from C3 Intelligence Branch Ports Unit recently conducted a joint agency search exercise on "L’Austral", a cruise ship docked at Belfast Harbour, working in partnership with other law enforcement agencies with the aim of #KeepingPeopleSafe at local Ports.

It should be stressed this was a drill. The exact timing of when it occurred is unclear. Notification of the exercise was made by the Police Service of Northern Ireland on Monday on its Facebook page.

In May 2011, l'Austral joined Panant's fleet. The mega-yacht with 132 staterooms was built at the Italian Fincantieri shipyard and designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel.
