30-year old man arrested after drug find in County Tipperary

CO TIPPERARY, Ireland - A large quantity of cocaine has been seized by a Gardai patrol which stopped a car on Wednesday in Co Tipperary.

The incident took place in the Garracummer area of Kilcommon, Co Tipperary.

Cocaine to the value of €70,000, together with €40,000 worth of cannabis herb were discovered when the car was searched.

A man aged in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Tipperary Town Garda Station.

Gardai say that investigations are ongoing.
