Man in 30s dead after his motorcycle strikes stationary car

CO TIPPERARY, Ireland - A motorcyclist was killed after his bike hit a parked car near Puckane in Co Tipperary on Sunday night.

The crash, which took place at approximately 7:40pm on the Ballinderry road just outside Puckane, Co. Tipperary is now under investigatio n.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was taken to the morgue at University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem was scheduled to be carried out.

Garda are appealing for any witnesses, particularly motorists with dash-cam footage who may have been in the area at the time of the collision, to contact Garda in Nenagh on 067 50450, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
