CO MEATH, Ireland - A massive operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Navan area has been carried out this week.

Fifteen searches were conducted over a two-day period in Navan, and as a result 11 people have been arrested.

The searches, carried out by garda attached to Meath Divisional Drugs unit, the Detective Unit at Navan and supported by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, commenced on Tuesday and continued until Thursday.

All fifteen (15) locations were searched under warrant. A total of €40,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis herb, drug related paraphernalia, illegal firearms, a blade, financial documentation, mobile phones, an English registered Mini Cooper and a sum of cash was seized during the operation.

All eleven individuals arrested are due appear before Trim District Court on Tuesday 3 March 2020.
