SANTIAGO -- Chile on Monday reported a total of 275,999 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the outbreak began.

DUBLIN -- Mark Daly was elected as the new speaker of the Irish senate, reported Irish national radio and television broadcaster RTE Monday.

ROME -- Italy registered a record low of six COVID-19 fatalities over the past 24 hours, national health authorities reported on Monday.

VILNIUS -- Lithuania and Germany will sign an agreement on temporary presence of troops in each other's territory, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said Monday.
