DUBLIN, Ireland - A 22-year old man and a 41-year old woman arrested after a drug bust on Friday at Blanchardstown, an outer Dublin suburb, have been charged.

The pair will appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Tuesday 27 July 2021 at 10:30am.

The arrests, charging, and coming court appearances follow a search operation on Friday targeting people suspected to be involved in organised crime operating in the Blanchardstown area.

It was a Joint Intelligence-led operation that was conducted by the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, officers attached to the Drugs Unit at Blanchardstown Garda Station and the Revenue Customs Service.

The man and woman are currently being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station while investigations, according to gardai, are continuing.
