DUBLIN, Ireland - Gardai has ended the search for a 65-year old woman who had gone missing in Dublin.
Gardai had sought assistance from the public in tracing the whereabouts of the woman, who disappeared from her home in Firhouse, an outer suburb of Dublin, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The woman's family and gardai were concerned for her welfare and were anxious to make contact with her.
"Following the recovery of a body from the River Dodder this morning, Sunday 12th September 2021, the search for missing person Linda Coleman has been stood down," gardai said in a statement issued late Sunday.
"An Garda Sochna would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter."
"No further action is required and no further information is available at this time," the statement said.
