DUBLIN, Ireland - A large haul of cannabis was seized in a late-night search in Dublin on Tuesday night.
As part of Operation Tara, gardai searched a home in the Dublin 7 area, where they found 2.5kg of cannabis.
A man was arrested at the scene.
The search took place just after 11:30pm Tuesday night.
The cannabis seized has an estimated value of €50,000.
The man who was arrested, who is aged in his 20s, is being detained at the Bridewell Garda station.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
