CO TIPPERARY, Ireland - Two bodies were found on Monday afternoon at a home in County Tipperary.

Gardai are now investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of the two people.

In a statement issued Monday night, gardai say the bodies were of an elderly man and an elderly woman, and they were found at a home in Cloneen, Co.Tipperary Monday afternoon.

"The scene remains preserved at this time and an examination by the Garda Technical Bureau will take place later this evening," the statement said.

The offices of the State Pathologist have been notified. Early indications are that both bodies have been undiscovered for a period of time
