DUBLIN, Ireland - For this year's Women's Mini Marathon, over 20,000 women have been running, jogging, walking, and wheeling through the streets of Dublin on Sunday.

Participants in the race range in age from 14 to the eldest participant, who is 93 years old this year.

Thousands of women filed past the starting line at Fitzwilliam Square in what was the world's largest female event of its kind.

Nakita Burke of Donegal won the race in 34:27, with Courtney McGuire coming in second (34:33) and Teresa Doherty coming in third (34:58).

Shauna Bocquet of Craughwell, Galway, won the elite wheelchair race in 26:59.

Participants have raised over €226 million for various charitable causes since the event's inception in 1983.
