Man in 30s dies after his mororbike crashes on R738

CO WEXFORD, Ireland - Yet another motorcyclist has been killed on Irish roads.

The latest fatality occurred on Monday.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, which took place  on the R738 at Growtown Upper, Barntown, in County Wexford.

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 6.20am Monday.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30's, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardai, in a statement released Monday, said the coroner has been notified.

No other injuries were reported.

The R738 was closed pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dashcam) and were travelling in the area between 6.00am and 6.30am on Monday 1st December 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
